La Gomera - Tour with Arrival from the North
Bus and Ferry Tour with Lunch
Trip Description During your stay in Tenerife, it's worth devoting a day to discovering its neighbor – the intimate and magical island of La Gomera. It's a completely different side of the Canary Islands: peaceful, green, and full of secrets. We'll begin with a ferry crossing from Tenerife, and after a short cruise, we'll reach a land unspoiled by mass tourism. During the tour, we'll visit the island's most beautiful places, including Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a kingdom of nature – a dense, mist-shrouded laurel forest, the largest ecosystem of its kind in the world, which, according to local legends, still harbors ghosts and witches from ancient times. Participants will also enjoy a delicious lunch with a drink, and the entire day will be spent in an atmosphere of relaxation, nature, and authentic Canarian culture. To conclude, over dessert, we will also participate in a demonstration of the unique whistled language – Silbo Gomero, which the island's inhabitants have used for centuries. The sounds of this unique form of communication, recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage, are truly impressive! The next stop will be San Sebastián de La Gomera – the island's historic capital, where Christopher Columbus stopped before his voyage to the Americas. Walking its charming streets, you can feel the history of centuries past.
